Our goal is to empower mothers through education, support, encouragement, and guidance as they transition into motherhood, and begin their breastfeeding journey with confidence.
Whether you breastfeed for a day, a week, a month, or a year: We are here to listen, guide, and support you on this journey with compassion and understanding.
Your Lactation Specialist
Hi, my name is Gracie, I have over 20 years of experience working with mothers and their newborns as a maternity healthcare provider in Maternal Child Health.
My passion for helping mothers breastfeed their babies grew from my own breastfeeding experience and challenges with my daughter over 30 years ago. Lactation services weren’t available then as they are now and let me tell you the struggle was real. Amazingly, 30 years later I had the privilege of helping my daughter breastfeed her daughter.
I’ve assisted thousands of families over the years prenatally (preparing to breastfeed), in postpartum starting with the “golden hour” and throughout the hospital stay as a Lactation Specialist as well as in a Pediatric clinic working with newborns into the infancy stage and beyond.

Prenatal lactation consults are designed to prepare you through education, skill instruction & technique practice to be confident and empowered when initiating breastfeeding after delivery. We recommend a prenatal consult for ALL families planning to breastfeed or provide their newborn with breast milk. There are many common challenges when first beginning to breastfeed. This consultation will assist you with obtaining knowledge to prepare you for the challenges that may arise in the first several days after delivery. It will also enable you to establish a connection with your lactation specialist in advance so you know who to contact should you need assistance.
Reasons a prenatal lactation consultation is recommended may include…
· You're a first-time mom or first-time breastfeeding
· Previous challenges with breastfeeding or milk supply
· Twins or multiples
· Flat or inverted nipples
· Diabetes before or during pregnancy (gestational diabetes)
· History of infertility or PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)
